    For me, animation has emerged into an avenue that has allowed my mind to travel to different worlds that can not exist in reality.  In my work, this avenue has been an ongoing exploration in finding humor in the mundane through quirky, everyday, and ridiculous situations. I believe animation is the pinnacle of storytelling. There is no greater joy than to be able to immerse myself into the art of world building and to breathe life into the characters that I create.  

    Within my illustrative works and my animations I emphasize a mood, a time, or a particular characteristic through pattern, texture, and color.  I strive to create a multitude of universes that are cumbersome, yet comforting, inviting, and overall, fun to look at and watch. Throughout my works, I employ a multi-disciplinary way of thinking and a variety of approaches in medium to allow myself to expand upon this process and to invite the viewer into the eccentric and humorous worlds that I create.
